Speedheat's micro-thin electric radiant floor heating panel is simply taped onto the underlayment, directly in contact with the floating wood floor.  This ensures fast response and economical operation when the temperature changes.  

A floor sensor connected to the GFCI-protected digital programmable thermostat keeps the temperature at the level recommended by the flooring manufacturer (usually 83°F).

Speedheat has designed electric radiant floor heating solutions for all types of wood floor coverings, including nailed and glued wooden floors.
